Lac La Pêche

In June we headed up with P and J to this little gem in the Gatineau Park and had it almost completely to ourselves. The water was clear and not freezing cold. The kids enjoyed diverting a small stream with little log jams and mud castles. There were fewer geese and geese droppings to deal with than at Lac Phillipe. The downside? It’s a good twenty minutes further than Lac Phillipe and on the day we went the deerflies were FIERCE! And we didn’t have any bug spray with us at all.  Still, a good place to head on a hot day.
